An increasing number of owners are using social media as part of their small business marketing strategy. However, while these online channels may be virtually cost-less, that doesn’t mean they’re easy to use.
One strategy struggling entrepreneurs can take is to look at examples of businesses around them that have been successful with social media. For example, eyewear company Moscot demonstrates to companies that it’s important to evolve with the times.
The firm uses Facebook to connect with customers, posting at least three to five time per day, DNA Info reports. This content includes behind-the-scenes pictures, magazine editorials featuring their products and links to other fun elements.
“We’ve embraced social media since the beginning, not only just to transmit information, but to communicate directly with people all over the world,” Wendy Simmons, co-founder of Moscot, told the news source.
Small businesses can also keep up with customers by using a social media strategy that incorporates many outlets, connecting Facebook friends to Twitter followers.
